Brethren of Ontario District,
I thank you all for allowing me the privilege of serving as the District Deputy Grand Master, Ontario District. I will endeavour to represent the Grand Master, Allan J. Petrisor, and the members of Ontario District with sincerity and to the best of my ability.
I would like to especially thank the brethren of Orono Lodge No. 325 GRC
for the support and encouragement they have provided throughout my Masonic
journey. They have proven that the dedication of a few can accomplish the
tasks of many.
R. W. Bro. Iain L. Oliver and his predecessors have worked tirelessly in maintaining the high standards and enthusiasm for which the District is known. I congratulate them for a job well done.
The primary focus of my efforts this year will be to provide the District membership opportunities to become aware of the vast array of resources available through the committees of Grand Lodge. These programs are designed to assist all lodges regardless of membership, finances etc. and enthusiastic committee members are at your service as required.
The three planned presentations by Grand Lodge Committees, Oct. 02, Nov. 08 and Feb. 28, are intended for all Masons and I encourage you all to attend. Visitors from outside the District are also welcome. We are never too old to learn.
The District Project, Masonic Foundation Of Ontario Project #2365, is to
raise funds for the purchase of additional equipment to assist the, "Masoni-Ch.I.P.
Ontario", child identification program. A goal of $10,000 has been
established for the project and I am confident that with your support it
will be attained.
I am certain Ontario District will continue to move forward aided by the dedication and determination of the membership. I encourage you all to lead by example and exemplify the wonderful teachings of Freemasonry.
It is my honour to serve as your District Deputy Grand Master and I look forward to an exciting year for Ontario District.
